- Solitude -went to watch aeroplanes landing at Changi again yesterday night.. we were standing on the road and i rem turning to face the pitch dark forest behind the fence and i was willing myself to stare into the darkness.. suddenly, it was like sumone opened the sluice gates and memories of OBS solo day starting flooding back.. HAhA.. i was askin myself if i would do it all over again.. staying in the forest ALOne in solitude tat is..
Thing is, i couldn't answer..
Funny thing was, when i came home, there was this heap of leftover stuff on my bed from OBS.. my bro borrowed my duFFel bag and conveniently emptied the contents all over my bed.. HAHAhA.. so i randomly picked a piece and read it.. and Uber coincidently, it read, SOLO RULES.. HAhAhaha.. (note: the following might look familiar to Candy Dandy&other obs pple)
1. Keep within your boundary... 10m diameter
2. Keep fire small for cooking only.
3. Try to do all your writing in the daylight. Candles to be blown out before sleeping.
4. Do NOT attempt to visit others even though you may see/hear them...they may not want your company at all. If you have visitors,shoo them off! You want to remain true to your Outward Bound commitment.(Wad Commitment.. when a grp of pple includin Candy Dandy exists, there's no integrity..HAhAHhAHahaa)
5. If there are other participants doing activities nearby, do not say 'Hello" or 'kay-poh'... Instructors know of your solo and will try not to disturb you.
6. Communication:- Hang 1 mess-tin for medical help.
Hang socks on basha for toilet.
7. Toilet Etiquette... dig holes and bury your property. Burn toilet paper.
8. Bring ALL your trash back.
9. Emergency:- Feeling sick or injured...blow whistle 3x. People nearest to the whistle sound respond by going to the person. Only 2 are needed to bring casualty to the instructors.(Instructors are in the Ops Rm.)
10. Eat and drink enough. Do not fast or save water at the expanse of health. Do not use water to wash body. Take Care of yourself.

Yep Yep.. tat's basically it.. i din pay musch attention to reading the instructions during the solo coz i was to pre-occupied and yeah.. i admit, frightened by the noises i heard and who could forget, the WILd boars.. HAHAha.. looking back, its sumthin that i always laugh off, but at tat point in time reallie freaked me out.. all of us were dropped off at one point in the forest or another and NO.. its not the cleared and clean kinda forest.. well i speak for myself, my spot was kinda cramped... right in the middle where i was to set up my basha there was this new sprout growing.. and i had to lay my groundsheet over it and imagine the pain oh pain i endured coz i was sitting on tat bump the whole day and had to lie down on it at night.. the most pathetic thing was tat i couldn't sit/sleep beside it.. with the cramped space tat i had, i just had to make do and subsist with it.. ha.. imagine waking up in the dead of the night and slowly start to feel ur body cramp.. Ugh..
and i broke ALL the rules.. ok.. maybe just Rules number 1,4 and 5.. hard as i tried, i just couldn't resist going to my neighbour(PeiYun) who was like say.. 20m away.. but i looked like 200metres coz the trees were obscuring her yellow basha.. HAAHhah.. so out of the 26 hours tat i was alone in the forest, maybe 1 hour or less was spent kay-pohing.. HAhHAha.. yeah. from my basha, i went to PY's then on the Syukri's then to Emelia's and den to Desiree's.. HAhaHA.. before we moved on to Johnson's site, we decided to turn arnd coz he was sleeping.. SO anyways, i'm quite sure wadever happened that one day and one night holds a very different meaning and experience to everyone who was out there in the Ubin forest.. i shall not elaborate much coz it was kinda scary to me.. HahHAhaa.. hey.. it WAS ok..
Well, if you ask me now, i think i would do one more SOLO day in the forest... Any forest.. I think it'd be good for me..
But if u can. oh.. and Remove the Wild Boars PLEASE...

- My Journal -HahAHa.. tat's the front cover of the compulsory journal tat we had to keep and submit to our teacher every week.. i tell ya, the entries are just soooooo corny i couldn't bear reading it.. SO embarassing.. i dunno how i managed to hand it in to my tcher week after week after week.. OMG... Shall not divulge much.. AHaa.. tink i was rather creative when i was 12.. U were supposed to decorate ur journal using ur creativity.. Ha.. i took white construction paper and wrapped the exercise book.. Then, used marker to draw lines.. like curvy wurvy ones.. in all sorts of colours.. AHhaHA.. and den smack in the middle are the words "Clara's Journal"..and at the back, there's a drawing of Snoopy.. yes HAND DRAWN.. hahahaha.. and chops.. u noe those rubber stamps tat girls collect when in P school? hAhAHa.a. chops everywhere.. AHhahahaa.. OMG.. Wad was i thinking.. AHhahaa..
Neways, friendster has like 8 Clara Tangs.. Mostly based in the States and one in Singapore.. HA.. and dat one in singapore studies in NGgee Ann... OMG... how could this be...
ah.. blogging gibberish today.. so just bear with it..

Well well.. went for evening mass today and met up with Qi and her sis at their workplace.. HAhahaa.. we had a good time fooling around.. ANyways, am staying up to watch the finals of Euro cup.. Channel 5 is so going to cash in on the Euro Cup fever man.. think their ratings will be so overrated as usual..Neways, Greece will WIN...
HAhahAHhaa... We'll see abt that..
